As he deflects their attacks - have Keaton move to engage the Oni Savages. Corrin can move up to engage the freezing maiden while Niles should set his sights on the silencing one - being aware of the Sky Knights lying in wait nearby. Kaze can move up to unlock the chest in the north that contains a Seraph Robe, while the rest of the army moves to converge in the center. To combat this, have your healers pair up with more resilient units to hide them from their staves, and had your more magic resistant allies should lead the charge towards the next batch of enemies guarding the maidens. As your two teams advance further, watch out for Shrine Maidens armed with freezing and silencing staves.

Up north, Leo can lure in the ranged fighting oni savages, while Beruka can fly across to the archers and let Kaze do the fighting instead. Have Corrin handle the samurai with his/her support, while Niles and Keaton’s affinity for beast-hunting can make short work of the sky knights. As you engage the archers, a pair of Sky Knights will move for your position flanked by three samurai, which means you should pair up and defend yourselves from the incoming threat. Meet with the strange shape-shifting man, Keaton, who will be all too happy to join, and waste no time bringing the fight right back to the archers with his transformative powers. Have Corrin make his/her way to the stanger with a support unit (I used Selena), along with Felicia / Jakob, Niles and Odin at your back, while the other team can go north for the stage. To begin, split your forces, and notice the strange man who seemes out of place in the battle. Your fliers may find this area great for picking and choosing battles, and Niles is likewise essential for taking our their own fliers. The boats and partitions on the water have been strung together to form stable makeshift bridges that lead all the way east to the enemy leader, as well as north to the opera stage, where several units are guarding a chest.

You are free to choose your own characters and take your own path through Fire Emblem Fates, but here's what we did to beat the level on normal difficulty.Īn opera house ambush is certainly a new one, but with Leo joining your team - the enemy doesn't stand a chance. It maybe tempting to stock up on flying units to counter this - but beware of archers. Important Note: This chapter is a bit of an odd ambush, with half the map being over water.
